GDC 2025 Comes to a Close - What’s Next?

Over the past week that I spent in San Francisco it was a time I met and learned plenty about our current video game industry. Where it has been, where it is now, and where it is going with the help of all of us that are working to make it happen in our every day lives. Some of the discussions I attended involved the future of Godot, the power that Discord holds with video games and how Jackbox Games has been thinking of using streaming services with their games. All interesting things to think about as we keep moving forward in the industry.

See you next year GDC!

It was a week of insight, communication, and learning but one thing is for sure and that is if you didn’t already want to help other people make sure that great games are always created then well, I can say I think that feeling has certainly been placed in myself and many others coming away from GDC at this point.
